Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Grafizum aims to make grafizum.com and the dashboard usable by everyone, whatever their device, connection or ability. Switzerland has no general accessibility statute for private websites, so this is a commitment we make rather than one we are forced into.

1. Our standard

We build towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA: semantic HTML, content that reads in order, and interfaces that work without a mouse. We test with a keyboard, at browser zoom, and with a screen reader.

We say “aim” because we are a small team and have not commissioned an external audit. Where we fall short, we want to know.

2. What is in place

In practice, that means:

  • semantic, well-structured HTML and a sensible heading order;
  • full keyboard navigation with visible focus;
  • colour contrast checked in both light and dark mode;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images, and hidden decoration for the rest;
  • respect for the reduced-motion setting;
  • layouts that adapt to small screens, zoom and large text;
  • form fields with real labels, and errors that say what to fix.

3. Known limitations

The dashboard is younger than the website and has had less accessibility work. Some data tables are dense on small screens, and the canvas-based charts are not yet readable by screen readers — the same numbers are available as text beside them.

Third-party content we link to is outside our control.

4. Feedback

If something blocks you, write to [email protected] and say what you were trying to do. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix the barrier as soon as we can. If you need a page in another form — plain text, larger type, a phone call — ask, and we will find a way.
