1. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise you on the next request. Local storage is similar, but it stays on your device, is never sent automatically, and only the site's own code can read it.
2. This website: no cookies
grafizum.com sets no cookies. No analytics, no advertising, no social-media pixel, no third-party font or script. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Swiss law (Telecommunications Act Art. 45c) asks us to tell you about storage on your device and to let you refuse it. This page is that notice: you can clear the two preferences below at any time, and the site keeps working.
3. What is stored on your device
Two preferences, both chosen by you and both readable only by this site:
- “grafizum-lang” — the language you picked, so the site does not ask again on every page.
- “grafizum-theme” — light or dark mode, so the page does not flash the wrong colours while it loads.
Neither is sent to us, neither identifies you, and clearing them simply means the site asks again.
4. The dashboard: one session cookie
dashboard.grafizum.com sets “gcc_session”, a strictly necessary cookie that carries your signed-in session. Without it you would have to sign in on every request. It holds no advertising or tracking data, and signing out clears it.
5. Third parties
Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps short technical logs to protect it. Resend delivers our sign-in and security email. Neither places advertising cookies on this site, and we do not embed social-media buttons or video players that would. Paid plans are bought through Polar's checkout on Polar's own domain; cookies set there are Polar's and follow its cookie policy, not this one.
6. Managing storage
Your browser settings let you see and delete cookies and local storage, and block them for specific sites. Blocking cookies on this website changes nothing; blocking them on the dashboard means you cannot sign in.
7. Changes and contact
If we ever add a tool that needs a cookie or a tracker, this page changes first and, where consent is required, we ask before it is set. Questions: [email protected].
